Adaptive Blog Theme: Session Complete!

This entry is part 12 of 12 in the Adaptive Blog Theme: From Photoshop to WordPress Session
« Previous

We’ve reached the end of our Adaptive Blog Theme Session – what a session it’s been! If you’ve followed along from the beginning; starting off in Photoshop, through to HTML, CSS and ultimately into WordPress development, hats off to you. If you’ve yet to dive in, take a look at what’s in store for you..

A big thanks goes out to Adi who never once let the size of this project (over 14 hours of teaching, across 47 screencasts) intimidate him!

One of the best tutorials I’ve come across for guiding viewers through every aspect of development from psd to WordPress. Thank you Adi, well done.

About half way through the session, finishing up the CSS stylings and then on to WP development. This is by far one the most detailed walkthroughs I’ve come across for theme development! Cheers to you Adi, great work!

Template file category.php is missing a part of a name of a DIV (triple A!). The DIV before the H4 is named ‘search-results’ and it should read ‘search-results-container’. If not, the H4 will hug the left edge of the DIV.

This tutorial series has been absolutely incredible! – I have applied
many techniques from this video and highly recommend it to others. This
was my attempt at a full wordpress theme and it has taught me a lot
http://www.drsdesigns.co.uk/blog/. Would love some feedback on how it

While testing the download of the completed theme, I noticed that when you click the author link (that displays all the posts written by the author) I noticed an issue with the meta content that is displayed at the top. It fills the container and is not contained in an article tag. Just thought that I would mention.
