Keep reading to learn a little bit more about the new editor of Wptuts+ and what we’ll be offering on the site.

We’ll be publishing a combination of step-by-step written tutorials and screencasts/video lessons. In most weeks we’ll be publishing 2 – 3 high quality tutorials, so make sure to subscribe to the Wptuts+ RSS feed so you don’t miss a thing.

Meet the Editor, Brandon Jones

After working as the editor of Webdesigntuts+ for the past few months, Brandon will be moving over to share his incredible wealth of WordPress knowledge on Wptuts+!

From sunny Southern California, Brandon Jones has been designing, drawing, photographing, and coding the world around him for the past several years. Not content to pick one media and stick with it, Brandon has developed a broad range of talents which have allowed him to work on projects ranging from grungy digital art kits to Fortune 500 software prototyping.

Brandon Jones is currently the third highest-selling author on ThemeForest, Envato’s marketplace for buying and selling website themes. He couldn’t be more qualified to head up Wptuts+, and I hope you’re looking forward to receiving tips from one of the most successful WordPress developers we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

Super excited. Please add some tutorials from a developers perspective that cover WP 3.0>. All of the tutorials on nettuts are old. Also, will my PS tuts+, net tuts+ premium account work for this site?

  14. Richard says:

I am so excited about WPTuts. I love working with WordPress and there is a definite shortage of good tutorials. One thing I am interested in learning more about is how to set up a good demo system for theme designers to show off themes for purchase.

Thanks a million! I’m still super excited!

So sooper stoked that you guys have gotten around to launching a WP-specific blog :-) Congrats, guys!

  25. Fantastic stuff. Good luck Brandon! Can’t wait to read more WP related stuff :)

  26. Rick says:

Sorry but I give it 3 months before it ends up like Mobile Tuts+ (I.e 1 or 2 posts a month, and even then barely related to the subject).

A silly, silly idea for a tuts+ sites. You’d have been better off with ‘CMSTuts+’ and get all the Joomla and Drupal crap over off NetTuts…nettuts = programming, not crappy CMS systems for people who have no idea how to create a proper web system.

  27. Swamykant says:

I know you guys are surely going rock :)

  28. Andrea says:

I like all your site, and I am following you from just the beginning.

I think that this site is just “too much”: you alredy have Nettuts and Webdesigntuts ( there are no so many posts… ), anyway why didn’t you integrade “wordpress” under l CMS tuts? Or just make it a session under nettuts or webdesign tuts? This could be just a cross-site-session on developing WP themes, nettuts for the code and webdesign tuts for the design?

My point is many sites isn’t always good, you can reamin without good posts in no time – but I hope I am wrong.

But you could call this better OCMStuts (Open CMS), and cover also: joomla, drupal, pyrocms, simfony, and many many more… why close just on wordpress?

  29. Monie says:

Yup, this is what I’ve been waiting for!
    Thanks.

  30. Halim says:

Have a good luck! And thanks for the help for beginner WordPress users.

  31. Arif Riyanto says:

    Wow,, you are cool :)

  32. Sebastian says:

    Loving this. Awesome.

  33. I like this wp article, I am glad to hear that Wptuts+ is up. Good luck.

  34. Husien Adel says:

wow :D i like the site and will follow it, good jobs guys ;)
