This entry is part 10 of 12 in the Adaptive Blog Theme: From Photoshop to WordPress Session
« PreviousNext »

You’ve read about using the Theme Customizer before here on Wptuts+, but today we’re up to the part in the Adaptive Blog Theme where we get to show you a really nice practical example. Good to see your using the theme customizer and not a standard theme options panel, good work.

      I agree Paul.
I’d like to see a big shift towards using the theme customizer for a themes options and leaving options pages/panels strictly for plugins.

Nice tut Adi, as always ;)

I think special theme options panels are more usefull and more beautiful than the theme customizer :) There are a lots of well designed panels in the web or you can design as well :)

Can’t wait for the completed theme! I really don’t have time to complete the tutorials now, but I will surely be using this theme if it ever comes downloadable. Will gladly pay that ~50$ for it in ThemeForest too!
